# Halving Mechanism

To make the game more challenging and rewarding for early adopters, BitDog will implement a Halving System. Here's how it works:

**· Progressive Difficulty:** As more users join the game, the rewards per mine will gradually decrease. This means BDOG tokens will become harder to mine over time, similar to how Bitcoin’s halving process works.

**· Early Adopter Advantage:** Players who join and start mining early will have a distinct advantage in accumulating more BDOG tokens before rewards decrease. This creates an incentive for early participation and long-term engagement.

**· Halving Triggers at 1 Million Mined Tokens:** Whenever the total number of mined BDOG tokens reaches 1 million, a halving event is triggered. At that point (and every subsequent 1 million tokens mined), mining rewards, upgrade and employee costs will be reduced by 50%, and the costs to buy will decrease by 45%. This cyclical halving ensures the game remains engaging and balanced over the long run.
